Magnificent Swedish Grace period kneehole desk in flame birch featuring rectangular stepped top with inlaid banding in teak and molded edge in rosewood, fitted with a rosewood inlaid frieze drawer and resting on a pair of correspondingly inlaid cabinets with molded bases; each cabinet with single door enclosing stacks of drawers and decorated with inlays in various woods depicting stylized urns and geometric shapes, with background in elm root. The whole raised on 8 stylized cabriole legs with claw feet. Exquisite item utilizing a number of Swedish domestic and exotic woods, extremely well designed and built.
